        Astorflex started shoe production in 1820 in Mantova, Italy, as a business to serve the local people working in the fields, using leather and wood in the construction of clogs. Produced entirely in Italy, Astorflex takes a responsible, sustainable approach to its laid-back footwear.

        Since the very beginning, it has always been sensitive to respect the environment by using natural raw materials and non-toxic chemical components, such as water-based glues and vegetable tanned leathers.

        Described by some as “the best desert boots in the world,” the brand’s sixth-generation factory follows a greener line under its owner Fabio Travenzoli. They feature soft suede uppers, natural crepe soles and undyed leather linings.
