    Bellroy

    Bellroy is an Australian accessories brand, making carry goods including bags, folios, wallets, pouches, phone cases and key covers. Founded in 2010 when a team of product designers and engineers realized they could re-engineer the standard wallet – and use it to better not only the way we move through life, but also what that life looks like for all of us.

    In 2015, after spending years refining and improving ways to source their leather, they committed to sourcing leather from tanneries with a gold rating from the Leather Working Group (the largest industry body working for environmental stewardship across the leather supply chain). This means that the tanneries are regularly audited and are achieving or exceeding strict standards regarding water usage, effluent, electricity, pollution, labor, working conditions, and other criteria. It also means that Bellroy get superior quality leather with great durability and longevity.

    The materials used by Bellroy are based on a balance of functionality, durability and their ability to age gracefully. They are 100% committed to making them environmentally sustainable and to pursuing recycled woven fabrics that keep excess plastics out of landfill (and oceans).

    The leather used is environmentally certified and sourced only from gold-rated Leather Working Group tanneries, which means they’re the best for the products and the environment. The fabrics are all non-toxic, water-resistant and highly durable. Where they differ is in the handfeel, appearance and abrasion resistance.
